Wainui School Newsletter No.32 – 23rd October 2018

Wainui School Newsletter No.32 – 23rd October 2018

FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

Kia ora Koutou,

This is a very short newsletter as I am away at the New Zealand Principals Conference in Wellington today.

All the year 7&8s, including Mr Irvine, Ms Jackson and Mrs De Cort are on camp on Motutapu Island. Plus Mrs Taylor is on bereavement leave.

We are a lighter skeleton staff – all children have teachers – do not worry!

Mrs Blackburn is “PIC” while I am away, her email is sblackburn@wainui.school.nz

CONGRATULATIONS COMMUNITY

Next week a full account of Ag Day will be included but well done and thank you to FOWs, teachers, parents and children for an awesome day!

Congratulations – Also to Ollie Steen and Bowen Jonkers. They have been talking about Garden to Table and the Best Emerging School Award! They will be on TV3’s “The Café” with Debbie Griffiths tomorrow, Wednesday 24th October from 9 – 10am. (Apologies from Mel, this was meant to go out on-line yesterday!).

Enjoy this fabulous weather, please ensure your child has a hat.

See you all next week.

Ka kite ano,

Gillian Bray
