Dear Parents and Caregivers

Kia ora koutou, great news today we are moving back to level 2 which means we can resume school for almost everyone!!

We are moving down to Alert Level 2 from 6:00am Sunday 7th March 2021.

It’s been a great effort from our school and the wider community, health workers, scientists, and technicians, and the thousands of people who have been tested across New Zealand.

We, therefore, look forward to welcoming all of you back on site on Monday morning!!

Alert Level 2 still has some restrictions for our school with the main one being that children should be not breathing on or touching each other, as much as practicable.

At all times, please continue to scan QR codes and monitor closely for illness within your whānau.

Please “Drop and Go” as much as possible, Mrs. Allen will be at the roundabout to meet all the 5 year olds with myself and Mrs. De Cort.

We would prefer all parents/ caregivers remain in their cars, not come in if coming to pick up your child/ children outside of the normal school hours. Please ring the office and someone will bring your child/ children to you.

sKIDS will be resuming their after-school care service from Monday.

Thinking Caps and Music itinerants will be back on their planned days, please connect with those tutors who will be having their groups starting tomorrow as planned.

Swimming will resume but please wait for information re the swimming sports that have been planned as there are limits on numbers at level 2. Please bring your togs as it might be your class’s turn to swim.

Our focus as always will be to support the learning, safety, and wellbeing of our tamariki and we continue to be here to support you as well.

Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s kaiako or me, if there is something you need assistance with.

Can’t wait to see you all!!

Ngā mihi
Gillian Bray
