COMMUNITY

The Conscious Kids Social Enterprise invites your tamariki to a 100% nature based school holiday programme this July. An all-day programme which allows the children to fully immerse themselves in nature, learn about risk and set challenges for themselves in a supervised setting. We provide basic equipment suitable for exploring the outdoors: ropes, tarpaulins, bungees, hammocks, magnifying glasses and much more. Our supervised programme allows kids to lead their own activities – mudslides, tree climbing, puddle splashing, hammock and hut building, etc. Social competence is a strong focus, as children work together to set rules within a framework of respect for others and the environment. Our vision is “Little Seeds for a Better Future” as we believe that children who spend time in nature will develop the skills and attributes needed to be successful in their school years, and beyond.

Spring is such a special season! It brings together all the elements and instigates all the senses like no other season. Rain and shine, warn and cold, beautiful colors, lovely smells and life blooming everywhere! Perfect time to comply our number 1 ‘rule’: HAVE FUN!

Our Holiday Programmes will run in October (Tuesday to Thursdays from the 04th to the 13th), at a cost of $75/child per day.

Daily programmes run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are designed for children aged 5 – 12 yrs old. For booking and more information, please visit http://www.consciouskids.co.nz
