Dear Parents and Caregivers

WINTER SPORTS INFORMATION

It has been great seeing the different sport teams out training this term. I know there will be many of you bursting to get the games underway. Not long now! Please see the information below regarding fees and uniforms. You can visit the centres’ websites for more information about your sport. I will be sending coaches and managers specific information regarding games when it comes through. 

HOCKEY

Fees:
Year 3/4: $95
Year 5/6: $103
Year 7/8:  $114

Uniform/Gear:

  •     Hockey stick
  •     Shin pads
  •     Mouth guard
  •     Wainui School shirt
  •     Black shorts (school or other)
  •     Long black socks

Players are in charge of sourcing their own uniform and gear. Wainui School shirts and shorts are available from the office.

NETBALL

Fees:
Year 2-6: $65
Year 7-8: $50

Uniform:

  • Netball dress
  • Short white socks

The Year 7 and Year 8 netball teams have got their uniforms already. The other teams will have their dresses issued by Mrs Kylie Allen in the first week back at the team’s training.

FEE PAYMENT

Please pay the fee through our payment system, Kindo. You will find this service on our school website under the tab “CONTACT” and then “KINDO SHOP”. 

Fees must be paid before your first game of Term 3. 

BASKETBALL

Basketball is back next term for Year 5-8 students. We have started to form these teams based on the students who registered back in Term 1, pre-covid. Are there any more students keen to play? We NEED MORE Year 5/6 players!  Please let Mrs Hill know ASAP if you’re interested – ahill@wainui.school.nz
