Interschool Swimming Years 7&8 Kaipara Schools Cluster

On Friday 16 March, the Wainui Intermediate Interschool swimming team will be travelling to Kaipara College in Helensville for their Interschool swimming competition. This is the first time we have joined the Kaipara Schools Cluster for a sporting competition. Mr Irvine will be accompanying the children and your child will have brought home a letter from Mr Irvine if they have been chosen for this team.
Events begin at 9.15am and finish at approximately 2.00pm, we will need to leave school by 8.30am to be there with plenty of time to spare.
For the day the children will need to bring the following:
– togs, towels, goggles and swim caps
– an extra towel to sit on (optional)
– warm clothing for non-competition time
– morning tea and lunch
– water bottle.
