Does your child enjoy making art and learning new techniques? Layal Moore (Seb and Arielle’s mum) will be teaching an after-school stencil art class for 8-12 year olds during Term 3 in the school art room, starting from Tuesday of week 2 and running in a 6-week block. Children will learn to cut and spray layered stencils using dye to create shading and then complete a stencilled canvas to take home after the final session.
Where: The school art room
When: Tuesday 3oth July – Tuesday 3rd September, 3.15- 4.30pm.
Who: 8-12 year olds.
Cost: $108 for 6-weeks, all materials included.
Layal is an artist and writer who holds a Certificate in Fine Art and Design from Whitecliffe College and a Bachelors Degree in English and Sociology. She’s exhibited and sold artwork at the Orewa Library and Estuary Arts Centre and her writing has been published in Poetry NZ Yearbook 2019 and in HCW Inc. Talents 2018.
