FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

Kia ora Koutou,

Year 7&8 ‘s at Moirs Camp, Mangawhai!!

The year 7&8’s our Intermediate team are away on camp!! Without the older children around it sure feels quiet!!! A great week to go and celebrate the end of the year, challenge themselves in the outdoors, develop friendships and have fun. Thank you to all the parents that have been able to find time to go and support the team and spend special time with their child, for some this is the last camp they might do if their child is a year 8 and moving the college. Thank you to Mr Wotton, Mrs Blackburn and Miss Jenkins (for some of the time) for organising and attending camp.

Waterslide at Moirs Camp, Mangawhai.

The sun is now shining, the water slide looks huge and according to Mr Wotton, all is very well and happy!!!

PTA Meeting – Again thank you parents, the meetings on Friday mornings are proving very successful and the teachers are also able to attend !!! TEAM REACH is also a successful means of communication enabling more people to support the school in terms of fundraising and events. We should have a total of the funds raised from Ag Day by next weeks meeting.

The last event of the year is “Christmas in the Country”, this event is run by both the teachers and the PTA. We do need parent help now as we need to ensure the students can all perform.

A question from me; a lovely Dad offered to help with the sound for Christmas in the Country. Could you please contact me again about this, I have written down your name and now have mislaid this. Thank you in advance!!
