Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Kia ora all!!
What an amazing day we all had yesterday celebrating the cultural diversity of our school! We shared stories of where we originate from, these were wide and varied from, South Africa, England, Columbia, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Niue, and of course New Zealand and our iwi origins. Below are just two images of some of the wonderful food sharing we had to celebrate.
Here is Matai class with Poppy Matafeo sharing Pani Popo, coconut buns, that represent her Samoan culture.
Lost property
Last day to claim the lost property that has been on display all week – there are still two tables full! These will all be donated to charity as we have not been able to find their owners.
Next term we ask you to PLEASE name your clothes and shoes to try and lesson this problem.
Lastly: Harry Browne Hale, year 8 leader, has a special message about a leadership activity he would like to put in place:
Have a wonderful holiday everyone!!!
