WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING
- Junior School Athletics – A little gap in the weather saw the juniors and middle school (years 1-4) have a great day last Friday competing in their Athletics Day. The traditional events of long jump, high jump, throwing were all interspersed with some fun races and events. The whole day was completed with everyone participating in sprints. It was great to see so many family members supporting our young people. Thank you Mrs Howard and Ms Robinson for all your organisation. Great fun was had by all.
THIS WEEK
House Sprint Relays – This will complete the Athletics Day events for the whole school. We will be hosting House Sprint Relays on Friday 2nd December at 2pm.
- Year 0/1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5/6, Year 7/8
- We will also be having a teacher vs parent relay race.
If you are a parent and would like to run in the House Relay, please click this link to sign up – Parent Relays We are looking for 4 parents per house. Come and have some fun!!
The action shots in the photos were taken by year 7 students Eva Pengelly and Amelie Graves.

These young people are graduating from school, some have been with us since they were 5 years old, others joining in over subsequent years. It is great to be able to all celebrate together again as this was one of the events affected by the pandemic.

Swimming Pool – The pool is looking good for swimming, it is just a bit cold still. The Board is keen to enable the community to purchase keys for summer. If you are interested in a key at a cost of $70.00 and are willing to sign the pool use contract please let us know. There will be 50 keys available. We will need to sort opening hours depending on if there is a member of the community willing to test the pool every day and keep it clean. Training will be given. Mr Bray will be taking annual leave from 20th Dec – 16th January. Please let me know if you would be willing to take responsibility for the pool in this time.
FINALLY
- Driveway and Carpark – Thank you everyone for adjusting to parking and walking to meet your children, everything feels so much safer now we are mostly off the road!! With no-one now parking in the bus pick-up area between 2:45 and 3:10pm the buses are a lot more efficient as well.
